Something that really stood out for me about the Precor elliptical machine is that they design them to move exactly the way your body does. That way, when you're working out, it doesn't feel like you're using a lot of energy. They call this "Relative Perceived Exertion," or RPE.
That means that you are actually exerting more energy than it feels like. When that happens, you end up working out longer, or even with more intensity. And you will get more fit faster as a result.
